Workshops

Workshops and pricing.

Four tiers, delivered live, online or in person anywhere in Ireland. Each one leaves you with a signed, dated training record. Most teams start with the half day.

Suits: An add-on for teams that have run a workshop and want the record kept current.

    You leave with

    • A fresh dated record entry
    • New-hire attendance added to the record
    • Updated review date

What your team does in the room.

The record is what you keep. This is what your staff get.

They leave able to

  • Say which of the tools they use are AI systems, and what the Act asks of them as a result.
  • Check an AI output before it goes anywhere, and know when not to rely on one.
  • Spot when a tool is scoring, ranking or screening a person, and who to tell.
  • Use the tools they already have for the work in front of them, inside your policy.

Sessions are built around the tools your people actually have open: live exercises on them, scenarios drawn from attendees' roles, and a pace that keeps everyone working rather than watching.

Pricing.

Priced for your team rather than per seat. All prices exclude VAT.

25 places on a comparable open course cost around €11,250 at the median published price. One half day covers the same 25 people for €2,250.

How we worked this out
  • €450 a head is the median published non-member price for live half-day to one-day AI courses from Irish providers, including IoD Ireland, the IPA and AI Ireland. The range was €370 to €495 when we checked on 22 September 2026. Member rates and Skillnet-subsidised places can be lower.
  • Our €2,250 excludes VAT. Most of the per-seat prices we checked do not say whether VAT is included.
  • Neither figure counts staff time. Break-even is five people, and at ten attendees the half day works out at €225 a head.
  • Self-paced e-learning costs less than either, from about €40 a head. It has no live discussion and no calibration to your tools and roles.

In-person delivery is based in County Louth. Travel outside the county is charged at cost.

Add-on: a 90-minute follow-up session three to six months later, with catch-up for new hires and a fresh dated entry in the same record. Quoted on your call.

Which tier fits?

The half day is the right first measure for most organisations: everyone who uses an AI tool, one session, one record. It is proportionate to a team that writes, summarises and searches with AI and does not configure anything.

The full day fits where some people set up, administer or rely on AI features: an HR team running a screening tool, a lending team using a scoring feature, a clinical team signing off AI-assisted documentation. Those roles get depth matched to what they do, and the day ends with a draft acceptable-use policy.

The two day is for organisations that want governance in place as well as training: a board or oversight lead who will own the policy, managers who will answer for how AI is used, and a review cadence agreed before anyone leaves. Regulated firms and larger organisations tend to take it.

If you are not sure, the 20-minute call settles it. We ask what tools are in use, who configures them and what you have done so far, and say which tier fits. If you are not in scope, we say that too.
